Welcome to the Cliftonville Hotel
Built as a hotel in 1897 many of the original features remain as treasured reminders of that Edwardian period. The 'Gone with the Wind' style staircase and beautiful stained glass windows, in the reception and magnificent West Cliff Restaurant with its sea views help to promote an atmosphere of calm and relaxation.
Now in the 21st century the hotel has introduced an all day coffee shop and bar, offering a wide selection of speciality teas and coffees, pastries and light meals. Bolton's Bistro specialising in fresh fish dishes, as well as offering a wide choice of meat and vegetarian dishes, offers guests a more relaxed informal atmosphere in which to dine. The Ballroom Lounge reserved exclusively for guests is decorated with hand painted murals and provides an area of calm tranquillity at the end of a busy day.
